The Finnish design companies\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ragamuf.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ragamuf\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/lokalhelsinki.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lokal<\/a>\u00a0are special guest to the event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17:00-17.30: Greetings from Finland: \u201dDesign learning grows and finds new audiences and forms\u201d \u2013 an update by Mari Savio from SuoMu, who is a writer, game designer and design learning specialist.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>18:00-19:00 Rug-jewellery workshop and The Social Rug comeback by Arja Taskinen\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>About SuoMu<\/h4>\n<p>The Finnish Association of Design Learning promotes the use of design education in different teaching platforms, leisure activities, and among the general public. SuoMu works in co-operation with various educational and cultural actors. The design education in both the primary and advanced level highlights the prevalence of design in all its aspects of our everyday life and makes the processes of design itself visible.<\/p>\n<p>SuoMu produces contents, such as design workshops and lectures for schools and different cultural events.
