It is organized by the Reykjav\u00edk International Literary Festival, the Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education, Business Iceland, Glj\u00fafrasteinn, and Forlagi\u00f0, the publisher of Halld\u00f3r Laxness in Iceland. The Nordic House is a partner of the 2026 Halld\u00f3r Laxness International Literary Prize.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, the prize is awarded to the Polish author Olga Tokarczuk. She will accept the award on Thursday, September 10th, with the program beginning at 17:00.
