We invite you to a screening of the Faroese film Sk\u00e1l<\/em>, which is about the poet and musician Dania O. Tausen. The film, directed by Maria T\u00f3rgar\u00f0 and Cecilie Debell, is about identity, faith, love, freedom, and finding one’s own voice.<\/p>\n

Sk\u00e1l<\/em> won the award for best film in the New Nordic Voice<\/em> <\/strong>category at Nordisk Panorama 2021, where the jury, among other things, emphasized the film’s sincere storytelling, strong artistic vision, and beautiful visual presentation.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the screening, Silje Beite L\u00f8ken will lead a conversation with Dania. Here, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film, the creative process, and the personal and social themes it addresses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The movie is 75 minutes long.<\/em>
\nThe talk will last aprox 30 min.<\/em><\/p>\n
