Inspired by the exhibition <strong><em>Membrane: Myth and Fictions of Soil <\/em><\/strong> currently on view at the Nordic House and open to all visitors throughout the day, artist <strong>Estelle Pollaert<\/strong> will lead a hands-on monotype printing workshop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using monotype techniques, participants will create illustrations of creatures living in the soil. Each artwork will then be printed using a press, allowing everyone to make several copies of their design.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are invited to leave one print behind to help fill the greenhouse with a collective display of creatures created during the workshop. Later, the prints will be sewn together into a small book that will become part of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>A guided tour of the exhibition <em>Membrane: Myth and Fictions of Soil <\/em>will take place from 13:00 in Hvelfing if you are looking for inspiration for the workshop!<\/p>\n<p>About the teacher, <b>Estelle Pollaert <\/b>is a French multidisciplinary artist based in Reykjavik. Her art is playful, colorful and makes us smile everyday we encounter them!
