It is an alternative fiction to the equally fictitious infinite growth potential in the good old capitalism. However, this one is an even older system- the great-grandmother of thermodynamics, reincarnating in your compost bin, the marrow of your bones and the irresistible pull of gravity. This is an ode to the ones who are breaking down, the ones who go into the dark depths, the unproductive, the exhaustible, the slow, and the monstrous.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Linda Bolsakova\u2019s<\/strong> practice explores human relationships with the environment and draws parallels between human and non-human embodiments. Her work seeks to reveal connections and to contribute to the development of a stronger sense of belonging to ecosystems and to the broader community of beings that mutually inhabit the planet. It also aims to encourage the imagining of alternative ways of relating to others by creating spaces for empathic encounters and fostering a culture of sustainability.
