Watercolors will also be available.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>We recommend that guests visit the exhibition Ripples: Shifting Realities in the Arctic, for inspiration before starting to paint their glacier-themed artworks.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>You can also view works created by children from several Reykjav\u00edk primary schools in the exhibition Inspired by the North, which is on view during The Childrens Culture Festival.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div>\u00cdris Mar\u00eda is studying art education at the Iceland University of the Arts and will graduate with teaching qualifications this summer. She holds a master\u2019s degree in fine art from the Iceland University of the Arts, a bachelor\u2019s degree in sociology from the University of Iceland, and has completed a two\u2011year painting program at the Reykjav\u00edk School of Visual Arts. She has exhibited her work widely, including at the Mosfellsb\u00e6r Art Gallery, The Living Art Museum, the \u00c1rnesinga Art Museum, and in Greenland.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Accessibility:<\/strong>The children\u2019s library at the Nordic House is open to everyone. Wheelchair access is available via an elevator from the main entrance through the exhibition space Hvelfing. An accessible restroom and baby-changing facilities are available on the main floor. Library staff are available for further information and assistance if needed.<\/p>\n<p>Opening hours: Tuesday \u2013 Sunday, 10:00\u201317:00.
