Christmas PIPPI:\u00a0 Story hours in Different Languages & Workshop at the Children\u00b4s Library!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Storytellers will read picture books in different languages, with winter or Christmas stories related to Pippi. Come and listen to other\u00a0languages and see what you understand from\u00a0the pictures!<\/p>\n

10:30-11:00 \u00a0\u00a0Dansk Sang & Fort\u00e6lletime! <\/strong>(Danish)<\/p>\n

11:00-11:30 \u00a0\u00a0Norsk Sang- og Fortellerstund! <\/strong>(Norwegian)<\/p>\n

11:30-12:00 \u00a0\u00a0Suomenlielinen Satutuokio!<\/strong>\u00a0 (Finnish)<\/p>\n

11:30 \u2013 13:00\u00a0\u00a0Workshop for the Whole Family!<\/strong> led by Elli Kyyr\u00f6nen. \u00a0Guests are invited to color and weave Christmas tree decorations together! The workshop will be suitable and modified for all ages; younger ones can color and glue on their decorations, while older participants will weave colorful yarn to make stars. The workshop is free and will be taught in English, Icelandic, and Finnish.<\/em><\/p>\n

The story hours and workshop will take place in the Children\u00b4s library at the Nordic House, where the exhibition PIPPI, Democracy and Voices of Children<\/a><\/em> is on view. The exhibition offers independent play, and you will find Pippi\u00b4s adventure house and costumes to play with!<\/p>\n

Access to the children’s library is via\u00a0stairs from the library or via\u00a0an elevator from the atrium and through\u00a0the Hvelfing exhibition space. More information on accessibility in The Nordic House is here, click this link.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
