Introducing M\u00fdrin, an international children\u2019s and youth literature festival;<\/p>\n
Lost in the<\/strong>\u00a0Moorland!<\/strong><\/p>\n Is children\u2019s literature lost or are they the guiding light of a changing world? Eighteen foreign and domestic illustrators and experts in children\u2019s literature take part in a three day program.<\/p>\n Free entry to all the events during the festival.<\/p>\n Program:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n 18. October<\/strong><\/p>\n 10:00-10:45 Workshop; <\/strong>Amazing Creepy Houses with<\/strong> <\/em>Meritxell Mart\u00ed and Xavier Salom\u00f3, <\/strong><\/em>the authors of the books <\/span>The Mysterious and Surprising House of my Grandpa, Grandma’s fun and scary house, A Terrific Gift and A Terrific House. The workshop is for children and will be in the Children’s library. The event will be in English.<\/p>\n 11:00-11:45 A guided exhibition tour of Pippi, democracy and children’s voices! <\/strong>in the children’s library. The guide is for all ages and will be lead by Ylva, who works in the Nordic House. The guided tour is free, but please register on myrinfestival@gmail.com<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n 12:00-12:45 Workshop; The Bolds with <\/strong><\/em>J<\/em>ulian Clary & David Roberts, <\/strong>the authors of the books about the Bold family. The workshop is for mid-age children and will be in Elissa Auditorium. The event will be in english.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 13:00-13:45 Let’s create a class! \n<\/b><\/em>The authors of the My Class books, Yrsa \u00de\u00f6ll and I\u00f0unn Arna,<\/strong><\/em> will share their experience and help you create different characters who are in a class together and lay the foundation for your own stories.

\nMartin<\/em><\/strong> the author and \u00c6sa Gu\u00f0r\u00fan Bjarnad\u00f3ttir <\/strong><\/em>translator, of the book series Lalla and M\u00e6ja’s Detective Agency – will have a workshop for middle age children.

\n<\/strong>Ingibj\u00f6rg \u00d6sp \u00d3ttarsd\u00f3ttir and Gunnar Helgason<\/strong><\/em> have a quiz\/gameshow to create stories. An all age event in the Children’s library. The event will be in Icelandic.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
