Organic Day will be celebrated at the Nordic House on Saturday, September 20.<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Organic farmers and producers will be on site with a wide variety of organic food and beauty products \u2013 which visitors can taste, try, and buy. Events connected to the Organic Day will also take place across the country. Information about these events can be found on the Facebook page L\u00edfr\u00e6nt \u00cdsland<\/i>.<\/p>\n

    Plantan Bistro will offer a special Icelandic organic dish on the menu to mark the day.<\/p>\n

    Children\u2019s program:<\/b><\/p>\n

    10:00\u201311:00:<\/b><\/span> In the greenhouse, Anna Mar\u00eda Bj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir, project manager of Organic Day, will host light activities for children. These include coloring, organic bingo, and compost-making games. Children can also plant seeds in a pot to take home.<\/p>\n
