Reykjav\u00edk-based interdisciplinary artist, composer and musician working with audiovisual works, multimedia installations and recording studio productions as producer and engineer.<\/p>\n
His work investigates procedures that depict sound and visual forms out of a naturalistic context, while often filtering the outcome with machine- driven techniques. His aesthetic generates from interests in field recordings, acoustic ecology, sound physics & synthesis, audio spatialization and data sonification as composition tools.<\/p>\n
He has released via labels including Bedroom Community, Room40 (\u2018VAKNING\u2019, \u2018Meradalir\u2019 w\/ Ben Frost, \u2018STILL~AEOLIAN\u2019 w\/ Sandro Mussida), INNI and Until Riots with projects developed in a diverse array of environments such as glaciers, the Amazon rainforest, urban contexts, oceans and volcanos.<\/p>\n
His musical contributions include the OSCAR and BAFTA-winning score \u2018All Quiet on the Western Front\u2019, ‘DARK’ Netflix series, Golden Globe, OSCAR and BAFTA nominated \u201cConclave”, \u2018Dune: Prophecy\u2019, \u2018Against the Ice\u2019, ‘The Old Guard\u2019, \u2018Silo\u2018, \u2018Without Remorse\u2019, \u2018Fresh\u2019 and many other including video games, theatre plays, operas and stage artworks.<\/p>\n
In the visual art he has scored and sound designed for Ailbhe N\u00ed Bhriain\u2019s three channel films \u2018The Dream Pool Intervals\u2019 and \u2018An Experiment with Time’, and created solo and collaborative installations such as \u2018Stellar\u2019, \u20182120: 42\u00b035\u201904.2\u2033N 9\u00b017\u201957.7\u2033E\u2019, \u2018Stored Void\u2019, \u2018PETRA\u2019, \u2018Voltage IO\u2019 and \u2018Glitsteinar\u2019.<\/p>\n
He is a cum laude graduate in Electroacoustic Music Composition and Multimedia Technologies from the Conservatory \u201cA. Steffani\u201d of Castelfranco Veneto (IT), studied at the Intermedia Art Department, Academy of Music and SME Studio of Electroacoustic Music in Krakow, and graduated in Contemporary Writing and Production at the Cpm Music Institute in Milan.<\/p>\n
