Everything revolves around love \u2013 and with this project, musician Anna<\/span> Kruse<\/span> and actress Stina Ekblad present a heartfelt tribute to a sister across time\/space and life\/death: Edith S\u00f6dergran.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Actress Stina Ekblad joins Anna<\/span> in honoring the young poet Edith S\u00f6dergran. Midsummer of 2023 marked 100 years since Edith departed this world. Together, Anna<\/span>and Stina have created performances and concerts for years, celebrating Edith\u2019s small yet profoundly rich work. Edith S\u00f6dergran\u2019s life was short (1892\u20131923), but she is considered one of the most important poets of Swedish modernism.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swedish singer and composer Anna<\/span> Kruse<\/span> has been based in Copenhagen for many years, contributing to the Danish music scene since arriving as an exchange student at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in 1998.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Anna<\/span> has created seven albums featuring Edith S\u00f6dergran\u2019s poetry. Her music draws inspiration from jazz, folk, and classical traditions, often leading to unique and inspiring collaborations.<\/em><\/div>\n
