While our ancestors knitted out of necessity &#8211; using limited resources to stay warm in harsh winters &#8211; we now embrace it as a creative and enjoyable craft. But beyond the joy of making, what deeper cultural significance does knitting hold? How has this tradition shaped our societies, and can the simple act of knitting help boost wellbeing in our fast-paced world?<\/p>\n<p>Join Satu and Lee as they explore these questions and share insights into the rich cultural heritage of Nordic knitting. In addition, we will share a specially-made design by Lee with all participants prior to the event \u2013 which you are welcome to work on while listening to the conversation. It is a knitting pattern for a warm seat pad. Participants are also welcome to bring along their own knitting projects, or simply tune in to the conversation.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you&#8217;re a seasoned knitter or just curious to learn, you are welcome to join us!
