These books are part of \u201cThe Bookworm\u201d, a Nordic database of educational materials related to books nominated for The Nordic Council Children and Young People\u2019s Literature Prize. The database is free and accessible to everyone in all Nordic languages at bokslukaren.org.<\/a><\/p>\n The exhibition promotes image reading and understanding \u2013 so families who do not speak the language are welcome to join and hear Finnish. The images and educational materials help everyone to understand the books. Visitors can also borrow Bookworm Story Bags and practice image reading at home. Each bag holds a selection of the Nordic books from the exhibition with pedagogical material on bokslukaren.org.<\/p>\n After the reading visitors are encouraged to enjoy their time and take part in interactive games in relation to the exhibition.
