A three-hour course with <strong>Ma\u00f3 Alheimsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong>. The course is held during the Nordic Literature week and on the Icelandic language day. We celebrate language and diversity by offering workshop by the talented author and artist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ma\u00f3 Alheimsd\u00f3ttir writes in Icelandic, although her mother tongue is Polish. Ma\u00f3 is the author of the novel &#8220;<em>Ve\u00f0urfregnir og jar\u00f0arfarir&#8221;, <\/em>the script of won the Center for Icelandic Literature&#8217;s N\u00fdr\u00e6ktarstyrkur grant. More works by Mao appeared in <em>T\u00edmarit M\u00e1ls og Menningar<\/em> magazine, <em>Lj\u00f3\u00f0abr\u00e9f Tunglsins <\/em>poetry collection and <em>Polyphony of foreign origin<\/em>. Ma\u00f3 also makes performances and sound works. She is the chairman of <em>&#8220;\u00d3s Pressan&#8221;,<\/em> an association of writers and poets in Reykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course is <strong>free of charge<\/strong> and everyone is welcome above 12 \u00a0years old. <strong>Registration<\/strong> can be obtained by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:hrafnhildur@nordichouse.is\" data-outlook-id=\"f7bc51fd-82cc-409e-909a-294697adea1c\">hrafnhildur@nordichouse.is<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Opening hours and accessibility:<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>The Children\u2019s Library is open for all. Accessible for wheelchair users via the elevator and through Hvelfing exhibition space. Accessible restrooms and a restroom for families with babies is on the main\u00a0floor. Opening hours are TUE-SUN 10 am-17 pm.
