Families with children aged 0-3 are invited to an interactive music lesson led by violinist and music teacher Natalia Duarte Jeremias.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The music moment takes place without words, so it is open to parents and children of any linguistic background. Natalia uses gestural cues and sings with neutral syllables so the center of attention is on making music together, stimulating musical thinking and creativity in the youngest children. The method is Inspired by Edwin Gordon\u2019s Music Learning Theory.<\/p>\n

The session begins with Natalia briefly explaining what will take place and what is expected of the parents (in English). After the activity, Natalia invites parents to an open conversation and answers questions. The conversation can take place in English, Spanish or Italian.<\/p>\n

This event is the first of a series of concerts programmed during the fall and winter. It will be approximately 30 minutes long, it is for free and everyone is welcome! Note that there are limited spaces so registration is needed: natduartej@gmail.com<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Natalia is a viola player and music teacher. She has experience working with the youngest children in music education and recently completed a course in Italy in musical methodology for children \u2013 where she became familiar with Edwin Gordon\u2019s methods. In the years 2015-2024, she was playing with international symphony orchestras and quartets such as Orchestra Barocca di Milano, Barokkbandinu Br\u00e1k and others, but in 2022 she also completed a master\u2019s degree in music education from the Italian school: Conservatory of Padua.<\/p>\n
