{"id":58139,"date":"2024-03-21T14:07:28","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T14:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nordichouse.is\/?post_type=event&#038;p=58139"},"modified":"2024-04-23T10:32:00","modified_gmt":"2024-04-23T10:32:00","slug":"architecture-alvar-and-the-city","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/nordichouse.is\/en\/event\/architecture-alvar-and-the-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Architecture, Alvar and the city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Experiments, researches and mini models, showing\u00a0 houses of the future, seen through the eyes of ten-year-old children, will be in the lobby of the Nordic House during the Design March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the exhibition, you can see the work of the students of H\u00f3labrekkusk\u00f3li, which were created this winter in collaboration with the teachers and pedagogue of the Nordic house.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The main inspiration for the project was the exhibition Wasteland Iceland and sustainability in architecture, but the project also includes general education about architecture, an examination of the structure of Brei\u00f0holt and the design of Alvar Aalto, who is the architect of the Nordic House.
