\nIllustrators Anna Fiske (NO), Jenni Desmond (UK), Anais Brunet (FR) and Linda \u00d3lafsd\u00f3ttir (IS) talk about the sea and fantasy in their books. Writer Margr\u00e9t Tryggvad\u00f3ttir (IS) moderates the panel.<\/p>\n

11:15 – 11:45 – READING AND INTERVIEW WITH KENT KIELSEN (GL)
\nAuthor of the book The<\/em> P<\/em>a<\/em>r<\/em>l<\/em>ia<\/em>m<\/em>e<\/em>n<\/em>t<\/em> o<\/em>f<\/em> t<\/em>h<\/em>e<\/em> A<\/em>n<\/em>i<\/em>m<\/em>a<\/em>l<\/em>s<\/em>. The reading takes place in Greenlandic and the conversation in Danish.<\/p>\n

\nA project whose aim is to promote the reading of Nordic children’s literature. Mikaela Wickstr\u00f6m from Nordisk kulturkontakt in Finland presents the project.<\/p>\n

13:00 – 14:00 –\u00a0PANEL: THE SEA AND FANTASY IN STORIES
\nThe Icelandic writers Krist\u00edn Bj\u00f6rg Sigurvinsd\u00f3ttir, Gunnar Theod\u00f3r Eggertsson, \u00c6var \u00de\u00f3r Benediktsson and Eva R\u00fan \u00deorgeirsd\u00f3ttir discuss their stories about the sea. Illustrator Nick White (UK) moderates the panel.<\/p>\n

\nParticipants are encouraged to make their way to Vesturb\u00e6jarlaugin swimming pool and dive<\/em> into social connection Icelandic style.<\/p>\n

15:30 – 17:00 – MASTERCLASS WITH ILLUSTRATORS
\nIllustrators offer insights into their creative processes and give participants short assignments. How is history made? How can the imagination be stimulated? Participants can choose between two workshops: Nick White (Alvar meeting room) and Lena Fr\u00f6lander-Ulf (Aino meeting room).<\/p>\n
