PIKKNIKK: The Nordic House summer concert series continue! Next up is Kurt Uenala with Jack Armetage on Sunday 30th July at 3pm. Free entry as always and bring your friends!<\/span><\/h3>\n


\nOur last PIKKNIKK concert of the year 2023 we are proud to introduce the fantastic Kurt Uenala with Jack Armitage.\u00a0<\/span>For this special inter-medial PIKKNIKK performance, Kurt Uenala and Jack Armitage will transform the Greenhouse into a venue as it has never been seen before.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nKurt Uenala<\/strong> has his fingerprints on more things than you may realize. While his name may be new to you, it\u2019s possible you\u2019ve come across collaborations he\u2019s done under the moniker Null + Void, including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Moby, John Grant, The Kills, Woodkid and most notably, Dave Gahan and also Depeche Mode.<\/span><\/p>\n

He will fill the greenhouse with fog and use it as a screen for laser visuals and of course also bring his synthesiser machine rig and perform electronic compositions from his catalogue.<\/p>\n

Jack Armitage<\/strong> (he\/they) is a music composer, producer, performer and researcher. He often makes music as Lil Data on the PC Music record label, and his research explores agential materiality and algorithmic embodiment, currently as part of the Intelligent Instruments Lab at Listah\u00e1sk\u00f3li \u00cdslands.<\/p>\n

For his inter-medial PIKKNIKK performance, he will perform using his experimental tool for self-organising musical systems, T\u00f6lvera.<\/p>\n


\nRefreshments can be purchased in\u00a0S\u00d3N\u00d3<\/a>\u00a0restaurant to enjoy outside.
