{"id":55730,"date":"2023-04-14T10:10:58","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T10:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nordichouse.is\/?post_type=event&#038;p=55730"},"modified":"2023-04-18T14:30:09","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T14:30:09","slug":"design-march-adapt-evolve","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/nordichouse.is\/en\/event\/design-march-adapt-evolve\/","title":{"rendered":"DESIGN MARCH: Adapt &#038; Evolve"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xdj266r\"><strong>Adapt &amp; Evolve is an multidisciplinar Exhibition where art and architecture meets science.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">The goal of this exhibition is to educate our community towards carbon negative materials and raise awareness about our collective future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">By exploring carbon negative materials and sustainability in the built environment, Neuza presents pieces of her research and investigation towards our ability to regenerate our cities through natural materials and human activities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">Photography, Mycelium blocks and Reishi pieces among other elements will be in display.\u00a0Along with the Exhibition at library, an Workshop for children will be offered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">The whole family is welcome to participate in a workshop where a Play House will be built. <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">The Play House will resemble as a symbol of our children\u2019s future in a planet that screams for regenerative practices and carbon neutral policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">\n<p><em><strong>Neuza Valdas<\/strong> from \u00c9vora, Portugal, is an architect, teacher and researcher, currently developing her PH.D. at University of Iceland: Climate sustainable cities: constructing using carbon negative materials and regenerative methods.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adapt &amp; Evolve is an multidisciplinar Exhibition where art and architecture meets science.
