Explore Ukrainian literature and mythology through the play \u201cThe Forest Song\u201d written by\u00a0Lesya Ukrainka in 1911.\u00a0Guests will get to know the fantastic inhabitants of Ukrainian forests and create a theatre stage using watercolour for background\u00a0and clay to shape miniature forest creatures to perform on the stage.<\/p>\n

We encourage families to come at 1 pm for a short introduction to the story and myths behind the creatures in Ukrainian, Icelandic, Danish and English.\u00a0Ukrainian curator Iryna Kamieniev and Icelandic cultural mediator Hrafnhildur Gissurard\u00f3ttir will assist in mediating the workshop.<\/p>\n
