The readings all deal with man&#8217;s responsibility for himself, in relationships and for life on earth, which the three authors take on with both depth and humor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be refreshments for purchase from S\u00d3N\u00d3 restaurant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00de\u00f3ra Hj\u00f6rleifsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong> is a writer who lives and works in Reykjav\u00edk. Her first novel Kvika came out in 2019 and attracted a lot of attention for its style and content. \u00de\u00f3ra holds a master degree in creative writingfrom the University of Iceland and is a member of the poetry group \u201dSvikask\u00e1ld\u201d. \u00de\u00f3ra was nominated along with the group Svikask\u00e1ld to the Icelandic literature price in 2021 for the novel Ol\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Kvika (2019)<\/p>\n<p>Kvika is a poetic novel in which a realistic picture of a mentally abusive relationship is described, influenced by contemporary pornography and its dire consequences for a young woman. Kvika was directly connected to the #MeeToo wave and offered a artistic view on domestic violence which had not previously been so clearly defined in Icelandic literature. Publisher: Forlagi\u00f0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natasha S.<\/strong> is a poet, translator and a journalist. She was born in Moscow, Russia and lived in Iceland for 10 years. She edited the P\u00f3l\u00edf\u00f3n\u00eda poetry collection of foreign origin (2021), presented a column in V\u00ed\u00f0sj\u00e1 (radio), and her first collection of poetry is due to be published this fall by Una publishing house.<\/p>\n<p>Her book describes how reality changes in times of war.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ing\u00f3lfur Eir\u00edksson<\/strong> (b. 1994) is a writer and scholar. He has released the poetry books Kl\u00f3n: Eftirmyndasaga in collaboration with El\u00edn Edda and L\u00ednuleg Dagskr\u00e1 His first novel, The Big Book of Self-Pity, won the Center of Icelandic Literature&#8217;s New Development Grant in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Kl\u00f3n: Eftirmyndasaga (2021) (Clone: a replica story)<\/p>\n<p>Kl\u00f3n: Eftirmyndasaga is a hilarious and poignant poetic novel about man&#8217;s responsibility towards life on earth, about death and rebirth. The book traces the biography of the clone dog Samson \u00d3lafsson Moussaieff, but that story leaves no one untouched.
