The exhibition is interdisciplinary and deals with the coexistence of eider ducks and humans.<\/p>\n<p>The children learn about this important bird as well the methods of using creative thinking while mixing design, art and nature perspectives. At the outdoor area of the Nordic House there is a bird sanctuary, where children will learn about birds during field trips and further the knowledge with drawing exercises. Specialists from the Reykjav\u00edk Botanical Gardens have prepared a special Organism search game based on the outdoor area. Through the organism search, the children learn about bird life, plants and the wetland in Vatnsm\u00fdri outdoor area. Participants also get to know the greenhouse of the Nordic House, where herbs and Icelandic vegetables are grown this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of composting will be introduced in connection with the cycle of nature.
