He is a postman, author student and poet. For his first book of poems, this year I received a New Breeding Scholarship, which is called &#8220;Night Cities&#8221; and was published in November by S\u00e6mundur Forlag. He also publishes poems in the poetry collection P\u00f3l\u00edf\u00f3n\u00eda, which contains poems by foreign poets in Reykjav\u00edk and in various magazines, including Skandala and T\u00edmarit M\u00e1l og Menningar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mao Alheimsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong> is Polish in origin, living in Iceland since 2006. She has an MA Literature from the University of Iceland 2020. Author of the essay <em>My Little Mongolia<\/em> in Journal of Language and Culture. She has received an Innovation Grant from the Center for Icelandic Literature 2021 for the novel <em>Ve\u00f0urfregnir og jar\u00f0arfarir<\/em> (&#8220;Weather forecasts and funerals&#8221;). She is behind the radio program <em>A\u00f0 fjallabaki<\/em> (&#8220;On the back of the mountain&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kamila Ciolko-Borkowska <\/strong>is a Polish woman who tries to understand Iceland. She writes prose and poses. She has published (only in Poland) a book of poems: \u201eWszystko ju\u017c by\u0142o\u201d (\u201eEverything has already been\u201d) and the novel: \u201ePrzezwyk\u0142e przygodny nieboszczki Marysi\u201d (\u201eOrdinary adventures of the late Marysia\u201d). Her work has been published in anthologies, magazines, websites, and several other places.
