The Covid-19\u00a0<\/span>pandemic<\/span>\u00a0has\u00a0<\/span>forced<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>children<\/span> to <\/span>adjust<\/span> to a new, different normal<\/span>, <\/span>affecting <\/span>school<\/span>, hobby <\/span>activities<\/span> and <\/span>life<\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>home<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How\u00a0do\u00a0they\u00a0feel\u00a0that\u00a0the\u00a0pandemic\u00a0has\u00a0affected\u00a0their\u00a0daily\u00a0lives?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u00a0has\u00a0been\u00a0the\u00a0most\u00a0difficult\u00a0and\u00a0what\u00a0has\u00a0gone\u00a0well?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Children from the\u00a0<\/span>Advisory<\/span> Group for the <\/span>Children’s <\/span>Ombudsman\u00a0<\/span>will <\/span>talk\u00a0<\/span>about<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>their<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>well-being <\/span>during <\/span>the corona\u00a0<\/span>pandemic<\/span>. In addition, the <\/span>Children\u2019s<\/span> Ombudsman, <\/span>Salv\u00f6r<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Nordal<\/span>, <\/span>will<\/span> present <\/span>results<\/span> from\u00a0<\/span>three <\/span>nationwide <\/span>consultations<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with <\/span>schools<\/span>, <\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>which<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>children\u2019s <\/span>narratives\u00a0<\/span>of <\/span>their <\/span>well-being <\/span>during<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and <\/span>experience <\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>pandemic <\/span>has\u00a0<\/span>been <\/span>collected<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The children’s experiences will be documented and delivered to the Nordic Welfare Center to map the well-being of young people in the Nordic countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>debate<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>organized<\/span> by the Nordic House in Reykjavik and the <\/span>Children\u2019s <\/span>Ombudsman\u00a0<\/span>Iceland<\/span>. The event is a part <\/span>of<\/span>\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>democracy<\/span> festival <\/span>Fundur<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Folksins<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>that<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>takes<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>place<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>on the<\/span>\u00a03.<\/span>-4.
