K. \u010ciurlionis \u2013 in connection with The Children\u2019s Culture Festival in Reykjavik<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We welcome you to an exhibition at the Nordic House library with works of Lithuanian children living in Iceland. The works are inspired by paintings and music of the famous Lithuanian painter and musician M. K. \u010ciurlionis. Celebrating the year of World Lithuanians, 15th anniversary of the school and the conclusion of the schoolyear in spring of 2018 Lithuanian mother tongue school in Iceland &#8220;Three colors&#8221; organized an exciting event for Lithuanian children dedicated to one of the most famous Lithuanian painter and musician M. K.\u00a0 \u010ciurlionis. Guests from Lithuania, authors of the book &#8220;Today M. K. \u010ciurlionis\u2018s Kings Are Telling Tales to Us&#8221; Milda Pleitait\u0117 and Kazimieras Momkus were reading from their books. Musicians Milda Pleitait\u0117 and Adomas Pleita were playing few pieces by M. K. \u010ciurlionis. After the performance children were invited to paint pictures inspired by \u010ciurlionis.
