The Nordic House opens the glass doors and invites you to concerts under the luminous Icelandic sky every Sunday afternoon (3 PM) during the summer in our beautiful greenhouse. The Picnic Concert Series<\/strong> presents Icelandic and Nordic artists with music inspired by tradition or experimenting with the newest genres and tendencies. The concerts are free and open for all!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bagdad Brothers<\/strong> is the project of former <\/span>V\u00e1ra<\/span>-members <\/span>Bjarni<\/span> Dan\u00edel<\/span> and <\/span>Sigurp\u00e1ll<\/span> Vigg\u00f3<\/span>. Despite having only been active in the current form for just over a year, the brothers have already released three short records, three music videos, and played around 40 shows in the Reykjav\u00edk area, including a few festival slots and a session with <\/span>Seattle\u2018<\/span>s KEXP. Their music has been described as energetic, youthful indie-pop for the summer time, tackling themes ranging from deeply personal heartbreak experiences, to an ironic political commentary.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can buy coffee, cake, food or drinks in\u00a0Aalto Bistro<\/a> to take out or enjoy afterwards in the iconic rooms of Alvar Aalto.<\/p>\n
