Svavar<\/span> Kn\u00fatur<\/span> is an Icelandic troubadour who has made a name for himself both with his own music and his interpretations of classic Icelandic songs. He has gained recognition for how well he manages the interplay between song and instrument – the hallmark of the troubadour – and his narrations between the songs. <\/span>Svavar’s<\/span> music is warm and personal, but also spiced with <\/span>humour<\/span>. He has traveled the world with his <\/span>music, and<\/span> has achieved success both in Europe and at home in Iceland.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nordic House Concert Series<\/strong>\u00a0is in its third summer, and as always, our guests can expect a varied program with interesting musicians. This year we present no fewer than four acts from the other Nordic countries together with six Icelandic acts. The concert series has something for everyone; folk music, jazz, classical, and pop.<\/p>\n

The series takes place on Wednesdays at 21:00 from 12th of June \u2013 14th of August. The entry is only 3.000 kr. or 2.000 kr. for students and senior citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n
