Einar Scheving is a drummer and composer. He is a key person in the Icelandic music life and has won the Icelandic music prize three times, of which twice for album of the year: Cycles 2007 and Land m\u00edns f\u00f6\u00f0ur 2011. At the Nordic House concert series, Einar will perform with his quartet, which consists of some of Iceland’s most accomplished musicians – Sk\u00fali Sverrisson, Ey\u00fe\u00f3r Gunnarsson and \u00d3skar Gu\u00f0j\u00f3nsson. These members will test new material by Einar, which will be released on the quartet’s next album. There is no doubt that it will be an evening to remember.<\/p>\n

The Nordic House Concert Series<\/strong>\u00a0is in its third summer, and as always, our guests can expect a varied program with interesting musicians. This year we present no fewer than four acts from the other Nordic countries together with six Icelandic acts. The concert series has something for everyone; folk music, jazz, classical, and pop.<\/p>\n

The series takes place on Wednesdays at 21:00 from 12th of June \u2013 14th of August. The entry is only 3.000 kr. or 2.000 kr. for students and senior citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n
