Formex Nova was established in 2011 to promote high-quality Nordic design and is now one of the biggest design awards in the Nordic.<\/p>\n

Icelandic designer, Ragna Ragnarsd\u00f3ttir, recipient of the 2018 Formex Nova Design Award, will be exhibiting her work at The Nordic House auditorium during DesignMarch. Also on show will be the work of designers nominated for this year\u2019s award; Falke Svatun (NO), Hilda Nilsson (SE), Kasper Friis Kjeldgaard (DK), Studio Kaksikko (FI) and Theod\u00f3ra Alfre\u00f0sd\u00f3ttir (IS).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Formex Nova award aims to spark interest in high-quality Nordic design by young, up-and-coming designers.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s honourable mention for design focused on sustainability and environmental issues go to Madeleine Nelson (SE) for her product Regrow.<\/p>\n

During DesignMarch Formex will arrange open discussions on the topic \u201cNordic Lifestyle\u201c in collaboration with the Nordic House, Swedish Embassy and Design Nation. Further information TBA.<\/p>\n
