The event begins with a lecture about the environmental impacts of diets from Alexandra Kjeld, environmental engineer. After that, the gourmet Gu\u00f0r\u00fan S\u00f3ley Gestsd\u00f3ttir will teach us how to make two environmentally friendly plant-based dishes from Icelandic ingredients. So this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about environmentally friendly food and how to cook it!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">The event will be in Icelandic. This analysis encompasses the environmental impacts of production and processing of resources, their transportation, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black;\">operation o<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">r usage and finally their disposal or recycling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">Alexandra will cover the existing knowledge about the environmental impacts of different diets, especially in regards to greenhouse gasses or the carbon footprint of different foods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">Gu\u00f0r\u00fan S\u00f3ley<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">Gr\u00e6nkerakr\u00e1sir Gu\u00f0r\u00fanar S\u00f3leyjar is the first book of the media person and gourmet Gu\u00f0r\u00fan S\u00f3ley Gestsd\u00f3ttir. The recipes are diverse, delicious and all-vegan. Gu\u00f0r\u00fan will teach us how to make two simple courses from the book along with educating us about its ingredients, which are of course Icelandic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #1d2129;\">The event will be on the ground floor.
