Hafd\u00eds Vigf\u00fasd\u00f3ttir studied in the Netherlands, France and Norway and was awarded second place in the international flute competition \u201cLe Parnasse\u201d in Paris. She has played as a soloist with the Reykjavik Chamber Orchestra, The Youth Orchestra and the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.\u00a0 She plays chamber music with The Icelandic Flute Choir and Stirni ensemble and teaches at the Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur Music School.<\/p>\n
Kristj\u00e1n Karl studied in Germany, France and the Netherlands. In 2000 he won first prize in the Icelandic EPTA competition. As a soloist he has played recitals and also played Brahms piano concerto no. 1 with the Youth Symphony Orchestra. He is an accompanist and piano teacher at the Icelandic Arts Academy, The Reykjav\u00edk College of Music and The Music School in Reykjanesb\u00e6r.<\/p>\n
Gi\u0301sli Jo\u0301hann Gre\u0301tarsson, composer and conductor lives in Reykjav\u00edk and works in the field of contemporary music making and composing. He recently returned from Scandinavia after ten years of studying and composing. His work include operas, chamber music and choir music and has been performed in Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, USA and Australia. His piece VOICELAND was recently performed, by the chamber choir Hymnodia in the Reykjavik Opera Days and his next opera Systemet will be premiered in Oslo, spring 2020.<\/p>\n
