Capable of both the epic and the intimate she\u2019s possessed of beautifully evocative voice and is backed by a keenly sympathetic band. Her album\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Tales from a Popular Tree\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards in the folk music genre.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Nordic House opens the glass doors and invites you to concerts under the luminous Icelandic sky every Sunday afternoon during the summer in our beautiful greenhouse.\u00a0The Picnic Concert Series<\/strong>\u00a0presents award winning Icelandic and international artists with music inspired by tradition or experimenting with the newest genres and tendencies.<\/p>\n

The concerts are free and open for all!<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can buy coffee, cake, food or drinks in\u00a0Aalto Bistro<\/a>\u00a0to take out or enjoy afterwards in the iconic rooms of Alvar Aalto.<\/p>\n
