The program includes flute music by \u00deorkell Sigurbj\u00f6rnsson in his memory, including Ra\u2019s Dozen &#8211; 12 flutes, Til Manuela \u2013 solo flute, Dropaspil \u2013 2 flutes, Sicilienne &#8211; flute and guitar,\u00a0 Kalais \u2013 solo flute, Tv\u00edteymi \u2013 flute and clarinet, Osl\u00f3arr\u00e6ll &#8211; flute (and piano ad lib.), Hverafuglar &#8211; flute, guitar and cello,\u00a0 Viennese Jig &#8211; 8 flutes \u2013 premiere in Iceland.<\/p>\n<p>The Icelandic Flute Ensemble was founded in Reykjavik, Iceland in 2003 and consists of around fourteen professional players.
