RIFF aims to promote a film culture to our youngest spectators and show films from all over the world. We do this by curating film programs for children and youngsters aged 2-16.<\/p>\n<p>This year RIFF Children &amp; Youth festival takes place from 30th September to 6th October in Nordic House.\u00a0All movies for ages 2-12 years old are shown in their original version with Icelandic Live dubbing by actors Vanessa Andrea Terrazas, Nathan J\u00f3nsson and \u00de\u00f3runn Gu\u00f0laugsd\u00f3ttir.<\/p>\n<p>Have a look at our great program for our youngest movie lovers!<\/p>\n<p><strong>SATURDAY, September 30th Opening Day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>10: 00-12: 00<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>10:00\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Program for kids 2+<\/p>\n<p>10:30 Program for kids 6+<\/p>\n<p>Cozy Pajama Screening in the Nordic House.\u00a0Original versions with Icelandic Live dubbing.<\/p>\n<p>The opening of the poster exhibition \u201cLittle Puffin on an excursion into the Arctic\u201d in the Nordic House Library.\u00a0We encourage all interested children to draw their version of the Little Puffin in the Arctic to be exhibited in the Nordic House.\u00a0Deliver the drawing to our office at Laugavegur 116 before September 28th.\u00a0Top three drawings will receive a prize from our friends at Tulipop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUNDAY, October 1st<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>10: 00-12: 00\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0Programs for kids 8+<\/p>\n<p>Cozy Pajama Screening in the Nordic House.\u00a0Films screened in their original versions with Icelandic Live dubbing.<\/p>\n<h1>School Screenings<\/h1>\n<p>RIFF offers school screenings for grades 1 to 10.\u00a0which takes place from the 2nd of October until the 6th of October in Nordic House.\u00a0Programs are screened in their original version and are Icelandic live-dubbed for under 12 years old.<\/p>\n<p>There are still a few seats available.\u00a0If interested please contact skolar@riff.is.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Children &amp; Youth Festival is an important part of our festival.
