The international research project \u201cTrajectories towards a sustainable Energy future\u201d was initiated in 2016. The aim of the project is to develop an integrated systems dynamics model of the Icelandic energy system, enabling multidimensional comparison of energy system development trajectories towards the goal of carbon neutral and sustainable energy systems. The project has received funding from The Icelandic Research Fund, Vegager\u00f0in (The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration) and Landsvirkjun (National Power Company of Iceland).<\/p>\n
