I dessa verkst\u00e4der uppmuntrades deltagarna att fokusera p\u00e5 h\u00e4r och nu, att finna frihet och gl\u00e4dje i att skapa och i att anknyta till andra kvinnor med utl\u00e4ndsk och isl\u00e4ndsk bakgrund. P\u00e5 grund av spr\u00e5kliga och sociala barri\u00e4rer har kvinnor och speciellt kvinnor med immigrantbakgrund ofta problem med att uttrycka sig och bli sedda och ber\u00e4ttarcirkeln ska fungera som ett\u00a0<i>safe space<\/i>. Verkst\u00e4dernas tema var Paradisf\u00e5glar \u2013 ett symboliskt s\u00e4tt att ge uttryck f\u00f6r inre sk\u00f6nhet, personlighet och diversitet. Verkst\u00e4dernas resultat visas i Nordens hus\u2019 v\u00e4xthus under perioden 13.9-4.10.2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"SV\">Utst\u00e4llningen \u00f6ppnas p\u00e5 s\u00f6ndagen den 13.9 kl. 13.30-15.30. Den kommande s\u00e4songens program kommer att presenteras. Alla \u00e4r v\u00e4lkomna till att njuta av f\u00e5gellivet i Vatnsm\u00fdrin. The organization aims to unite, express, and address the interests and issues of women of foreign origin in order to bring about their equality as women and as foreigners, in all areas of society.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">W.O.M.E.N in Iceland has various projects aimed at empowering immigrant women and creating a safe space for them to express and discover themselves in their new society.\u00a0 The Women\u2019s Story Circle is one of these projects. It is a cooperation between the Reykjavik City Library and W.O.M.E.N in Iceland. Women from all parts of society are invited to connect in a relaxed atmosphere through creativity and educational events.
