Paunkholm is the artist name for Franz Gunnarsson who is best known for his work with his bands Ens\u00edmi and Dr. Spock. Paunkholm is a step back from his roots in alternative rock music and brings to the audience, melodic pop delights with a melancholia topping. Some hipster remarked that Paunkholm is like Jeff Buckley meets The Beatles. Paunkholm debut album \u201cKaflaskil\u201d witnesses the artist having a showdown with his past of substance abuse with honest lyrics (in Icelandic) about his struggles but with the promise of brighter days ahead. For the album Franz recruited a stellar line up of musicians and singers. He will be joined onstage by some of the best voices in Iceland today.<\/p>\n

This will be the only time the whole group of artists featuring on the album will get together and perform. The Kaflaskil vinyl will be included in the ticket price as a special treat.<\/p>\n
