Organized by the Writer\u2019s Union of Iceland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bjarni Bjarnason <\/strong>was born in Reykjav\u00edk in 1965. He grew up abroad, but started publishing in Iceland as a teenager. He\u2019s authored multiple novels, as well as collections of poetry, short stories, and plays. He\u2019s received the T\u00f3mas Gu\u00f0mundsson Award, a short story award from the Icelandic Broadcasting Service, and the Halld\u00f3r Laxness Literature Award among other honors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>NonfictioNOW off-venue events at the Nordic House<\/strong> are open to the public and free of charge. All four keynotes: ISK 3,000).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>NonfictioNOW<\/strong>, held at the University of Iceland and Harpa Concert and Conference Center, June1-4, 2017, is a biennial gathering of nonfiction writers, teachers, readers and students, highlighting the myriad forms of nonfiction.
